TrueCalling glossary

What is TrueFit 360™?

TrueFit 360 is the proprietary candidate-job fit score used by TrueCalling that combines four explainable axes — technical skills, experience context, soft signals, and intent level — into a single auditable rating out of 100, with every contribution traceable to a public source signal.

How TrueFit 360 Works in TrueCalling

  1. Skill axis (0–25)

Hard skill overlap with the job brief, weighted by recency and depth of practice (e.g. commits in the last 90 days carry more weight).

  2. Context axis (0–25)

Past role context — scale-up vs corporate, B2B vs B2C, team size handled — matched to the hiring company's profile.

  3. Soft-signal axis (0–25)

Inferred soft signals from public outputs — talks, articles, OSS contributions — scored for ownership, communication, and leadership.

  4. Intent axis (0–25)

Estimated openness to a move (satisfied-curious / latent / hidden-active / firmly happy) from profile-update cadence and signal pattern.

Legacy approach vs TrueFit 360

Legacy approachTrueFit 360 (TrueCalling)
Single opaque "AI match score" with no decomposition.Four explicit axes, each capped at 25, with line-by-line justification.
Ignores intent — surfaces candidates who won't ever respond.Filters out firmly-happy profiles and prioritizes satisfied-curious + latent ones.
No audit trail for compliance reviews.Per-score audit log: model version, criteria weights, source URLs — exportable for EU AI Act DPIAs.
