What is Autonomous Sourcing Copilot?

An Autonomous Sourcing Copilot is an AI agent that handles the full sourcing workflow (interpreting a job brief, ranking candidates, and drafting first-contact messages on the candidate's preferred channel) while the recruiter retains final arbitration on every shortlist and outreach. EMILY™ is TrueCalling's implementation of this pattern.

How Autonomous Sourcing Copilot Works in TrueCalling

  1. Brief intake

The recruiter describes the role in 3–6 natural-language sentences; no Boolean strings required.

  2. Autonomous ranking

EMILY queries 1.2B+ profiles, applies the TrueFit 360 score, and proposes a shortlist of 10–20 candidates in under 8 minutes.

  3. Outreach drafting

For each candidate, the copilot drafts a first message that references a recent, specific signal (commit, talk, profile update) on their preferred channel (WhatsApp, email, phone).

  4. Recruiter arbitration

Nothing leaves the platform without the recruiter's explicit approval. Shortlist, message, and channel choice are all human-validated before send.

Legacy approach vs Autonomous Sourcing Copilot

Legacy approachAutonomous Sourcing Copilot (TrueCalling)
Autonomous AI agent that sources, qualifies, and contacts candidates with zero human checks.Copilot model: AI does 80 % of the repetitive work, recruiter retains arbitration on every action.
Generic templates copy-pasted across every candidate.First message references one recent, specific signal per candidate, no bot-like opener.
Black-box autonomy with no audit trail.Every recommendation logged with rationale, model version, and source signals.
